Craft and checks
Layered, bonded, then checked.
A head is petals cut from fabric or silk-look cloth, shaped, stacked, and bonded. Then it is trimmed, inspected, and packed.
What we look at
Diameter and height, inside the tolerance agreed for that style.
Bond: pull, drop, and vibration, so petals are not left in the installer’s hands.
Edge: no fray we would reject, no scorched rim, no glue sitting on the face, no crease that changes the shape.
Base: a flat glue area, a calyx point, or a stem socket, as agreed for that style.
Recovery after carton pressure: steam, warm air, or hand shaping. We will show the method when we have the clip.
Smell: a low-odor adhesive, plus a material record. We do not claim a chemical certificate we have not been issued.
Until photos and records are on the page, we describe the checks and we do not print a score.
Packing
Heads are light and they take space. We pack them so a carton stays compressible and a container is not full of air. Carton counts sit on each style.
If you have been burned before
Petals fall off when the bond is thin or the edge is rough. The checks above are how we answer that. We will not say “never.”
Blooms arrive crushed when the carton was overloaded or the shape cannot take pressure. We would rather change the pack than promise that every flower springs back.
A sharp glue smell usually means the adhesive or the cure, not the nature of artificial flowers. We specify low odor and we keep the record.
Shade shifts when a later lot is matched to a photo instead of the approved swatch. If a dye lot will move, we say so before shipment.
